Offspring acquire protection against core and non-core diseases through the placenta and nursing, mimicking the mother's immunity. This is further enhanced by later exposure to every day pathogens which increase antibodies. Titer testing offers a reliable way to confirm immunity.
If we remember that immunity is a birth right, natural infection is the best protection, are titers needed?
I would let them develop their God-given immunity by making sure they have early & regular nursing. From 0-3 months while their immunity is developing, encourage socialization with healthy animals away from places like dogs parks, allowing their immune system to stimulate while naturally experiencing daily pathogens, which further develop antibodies. If they were going to be somewhere like a shelter or out in the woods where stagnant water might be, I would consider nosodes. At some point, I'd have titers done. Knowing natural infection is the best protection, I would rather risk the low potential of that, knowing symptoms are usually mild or nonexistent, than to expose them to the much higher consequence of vaccines. This is what I would do if it were my young animal. It isn't veterinary advice.
Nosodes
Nosodes are absorbed directly through the mucous membranes of mouth, instantly signaling the body to recognize and prepare defense against specific pathogens at the entry points where germs attack, without toxic side effects or suppression of vaccines that bypass the body's frontline protection (mouth, nose, gut) and go instead, into the blood.
The use of nosodes for preventing disease has been employed with animals and humans for many years. Informed breeders and veterinarians use them as an alternative to vaccines.
They work through energetic signaling using viral/bacterial materials of specific diseases and the final product is rendered non-infectious, leaving a powerful, energetic imprint intended to stimulate the animal's immune system.
Absorbed directly through the mucous membranes of mouth, instantly signaling the body to recognize and prepare a defense against specific pathogens at the entry points where germs attack without toxic side effects or suppression of vaccines, which bypass the frontline protection (mucosal and gut immunity) and go into the blood.
Can be used in prevention or treatment. Higher potency nosodes like 30C, 200C, etc., are used to treat active, acute diseases by delivering a stronger energetic signal that stimulates the body's vital force to overcome the infection.
Many breeders do not use nosodes or don't know what they are. They are taking the critical decision of vaccination into their hands with no knowledge, training or oversight required. If your breeder refuses not to vaccinate or do titers, the risk of short & long-term health compromise is high, especially when vaccines are given before 3 months.
"The evidence shows that when disease happens, animals protected by nosodes often fare better than their vaccinated counterparts. Choosing them is choosing a path with no toxic risk and a proven record of supporting survival backed by decades of observation from trusted vets like Dr. Christopher Day and Dr. Richard Pitcairn."
"If vaccines cannot stop an outbreak and frequently don't, and nosodes can, as reported in field trials, the nosode is demonstrably more effective in that real world scneario. They show that nosodes frequently show superior protection compared to vaccines."
"When a vaccine fails, people blame the animal's immune system. When a nosode is used, the method is blamed. The hard truth many vets won't tell you is that vaccines fail. Vaccinated animals still get parvo, distemper and upper respiratory infections every day. If they were a guarantee, breakthrough cases wouldn't exist." This should say everything.
"Animals with strong, innate immunity enhanced with biologically appropriate food and nosodes fare better protected than others with artificially elevated titers and a suppressed system.
Nosodes surpass vaccines in major studies:
Dr. Christopher Day involving 214 dogs at a daycare:
Kennel Cough:
Nosode Group: Only 1.9% developed kennel cough.
Vaccinated Group: 4.7% developed kennel cough.
Result: The nosode stopped the outbreak in its tracks, while the vaccine failed to protect like the nosodes. Dr. Day concluded that in this case, nosodes worked more effectively than the vaccines.
An 18-month study with 275 puppies exposed to parvo revealed shocking statistics.
Parvovirus:
None of the puppies who received only nosodes died, suggesting that while neither prevents "catching" it, nosodes support the body's encounter far better than vaccines.
Deaths: Of the puppies who died, 76% were vaccinated.

Vaccines for "cat flu" are notorious for failing to prevent infection. Cat studies mirror canine data. "Calicivirus" & "herpesvirus" are confusing names for the cat flu, or upper respiratory symptoms.
Why people choose nosodes:
They work with the animal's natural energy without poisoning them.
Zero toxicity: Vaccines introduce heavy metals, adjuvants, and foreign proteins that can cause "vaccinosis" (chronic illness). Nosodes are energy medicines with no toxic side effects.
Natural defense: Nosodes alert the body's vital force. Vaccines force an artificial response that weakens the system.

The intention is not to overload or override, but to support and encourage the body's own balance and resilience.
They are not a vaccine substitute or guaranteed preventative, but synthetics aren't, and to compare them would like comparing a plant to petroleum.
If both vaccines and Nosodes don't guarantee immunity, wouldn't that say something? Designed In the Image and Likeness of God. Self As Healer.
For horses, there is a nosode for West Nile Vaccine, for example. This has proven to be effective in preventing the disease in the equine. Higher frequencies of the same nosode can be used to treat the disease. For horses, there are nosodes for every disease, and holistic vets have certain schedules owners follow to administer them.

Titers
Titers are a measure of antibodies in the blood, like IgA, IgG & IgM.
Natural immunity produces measurable titers through the placenta, nursing, everyday environmental exposure, mucosal stimulation (pathogens that enter through the mouth, nose and gut) and active recovery (similar to a cold).
Vaccines artificially raise existing titers.
Many veterinarians don't volunteer information on natural immunity, nosodes or the option of titers. If your vet refuses, or makes them prohibitively expensive, speak up or find a holistic veterinarian. If we don't say anything, things will stay the way they are as long as money is the motive.
Shelters have the ability to do titer testing but usually don't because of cost and time.
Breeders have the ability to do titer testing but many don't, mainly because of lack of education, cost, fear or time.

"I don’t (really) agree with the numbers game because the lowest titer is the same immunity as the highest titer."
"The titer tells us the pet has already achieved immunity. So there’s no benefit from the vaccine…you’re injecting something that can only harm, with no benefit. That’s malpractice, in my opinion."
One state requires a titer: Hawaii. Because they know the vaccine doesn’t tell you that the dog is immune.
"It should be a yes or no answer...…if your pet has any measurable antibodies…it’s (like) a pregnancy test, you either are or are not immune, period." Dr. Ron Schultz, Immunologist, Univ. of Wis

Some veterinarians do titer tests in-house or use an outside lab. If they don't, others may, or holistic vets usually do. Please consult your vet or research your area.

Tautodes
Tautodes are similar to Nosodes, but made from the vaccine itself, not the virus. They are used by those who must vaccinate and want to help reduce post-vaccine reactions.
